Our Review For HDFC Bank Millennia Credit Card

This is one of the best cashback credit cards you can have. I personally use it for all my online shopping needs. With this card, you don't need to get the ICICI Amazon Pay credit card or the Flipkart Axis Bank credit card because it offers 5% cashback on both Amazon and Flipkart. You also get 5% cashback on Zomato and Swiggy, covering your food ordering needs. Additionally, you receive 5% off on BookMyShow, Cult.fit, Myntra, Sony LIV, Tata CLiQ, and Uber. For any other offline and online transactions, you get 1% cashback. The best part is that wallet transactions are included, so if you add money to your Paytm wallet, you get 1% cashback, up to a maximum of ₹1000 per month.
The reason I prefer this card over the Amazon Pay and Flipkart Axis cards is the quarterly milestone benefits. If you spend ₹1 lakh in a quarter, you get 1000 reward points. Plus, if you spend more than ₹1 lakh in a year, you get an annual fee waiver. This is one of the best features of this card.
However, if you strictly want 5% cashback on all your transactions, you might want to consider applying for the SBI Cashback Credit Card.
Pros
  • One can earn up to 5% cashback on cinema tickets and 1% cashback on anything else.
  • Joining fee of this card is easily recovered in the 1,000 Cash Point given as a welcome benefit.
  • Points are offered on wallet loads.
  • Cons
  • No benefits are provided in terms of Cash Points or otherwise on renewal of the card.
  • No reward points on rent payments, fuel and government transactions.
  • The 5% cashback category is limited to specific merchants.
